Enter the Bandit’s Stay and Play T-Shirt Design Contest! Submit up to 2 original dog-themed designs by 12/31/2024. Include our logo and use approved colors. T-Shirt Design Contest Guidelines

Eligibility/Entry

  • There is no entry fee to submit a design. Only 2 design submissions per person are allowed. If you are under the age of 18, your design must be submitted by a parent or guardian on your behalf. The contest is open to all, however, Bandit’s Stay and Play staff is not eligible to participate

Rules and Guidelines

  • Follow Bandit’s Stay and Play on Facebook or IG, like and share contest post, submit design
  •  All designs must be original creations of the contestant, and incorporate all of the required design components outlined below and encompassing Bandit’s Stay and Play brand (i.e. colors, trademarks, logos). Submissions must not have been previously published and must not contain profanity, trademarks, other organization's logos, Specific pet’s or client’s information, or any copyrighted works of any other person or business.
  • Design(s) must be submitted in .pdf format, on the T-Shirt Contest website via the submission form by 11:59pm (MST) on 12/31/2024.some text
    • Designs must be created in design software like Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, or CorelDRAW.
  • By submitting the design you are agreeing to allow Bandit’s Stay and Play the use of your design, free of charge, for any and all printing and promotional purposes.
  • Contest winners must agree to submit a high-resolution layered vector art file within 7 days of notification and agree to work with Bandit's Stay and Play’s printer if slight changes/modifications are necessary for production. If not, an alternate winner may be chosen to meet the Bandit's Stay and Play’s production deadlines.

Required Design Components

  1. Theme: Dogs! It can be anything dog themed, whether that’s funny, dog-puns, cool dog art, or whatever else you come up with!
  2. Bandit’s Stay and Play Logo: Bandit’s Stay and Play logo must be used in the design. Click here for the official logos, which Should be easily visible and recognizable, any modification to the structure of the logo is prohibited. Color variations should include the colors listed below. 
  3. Colors: The winning design will be printed on a white t-shirt unless otherwise noted by the designer.. Design can use any of the following approved colors.96D6D6 or RGB (150,214,214),   DFFF4F or RGB (223,255,79), EAC5C5 or RGB (234,197,197) D5D8D8, 534E4A
  4. Design Software: Designs must be created in design software like Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, or Corel
  5. DRAW.
    a.    (Designs created using t-shirt design websites like, Bonfire, CafePress, and Zazzle will NOT be accepted)

Important Dates

  • Submit your design (2 per contestant) 
  • LAST DAY to submit a design – no exceptions 12/31/2024
  • Public Voting (on Facebook & bandits.dog) 01/13/2025
  • Announcement of contest winner 2/1/2025

How Winner is Selected

  1. Entries will be evaluated by an independent internal panel of judges and will be reviewed for:some text
    • Concept and originality of design
    • Visibility from a reasonable distance
    • Adherence to design and submission rules and guidelines
    • Adherence to Bandit’s Stay and Play branding guidelines, including logo usage, colors, and typefaces
    • Successfully capturing the spirit of the Bandit’s Stay and Play and the overall mission of Bandit’s Stay and Play
    • Totality of design and production readiness
  2. Upon final review, the top three designs will be presented for a public vote from the community (limit of one vote per person). Vote must be submitted by 11:59pm (MST) on 1/31/2025 via the t-shirt contest website. If a tie breaker is required, members of Bandit’s Stay and Play team will cast the final vote.

Fine Print

The submission form must be filled out completely and truthfully. If you fail to complete the form, give any false information or fail to reveal any pertinent information, you may be disqualified from the competition.

All decisions are made by Bandit’s Stay and Play and are final.

If the winner cannot be contacted within two weeks of selection, the prize may be forfeited.

Publicity and Agreement: Contest entry constitutes an agreement by the submitting designers to grant free license of all copyrights of the submitted works to Bandit’s Stay and Play in perpetuity, for publicity and promotional purposes. Top 3 finalists will be subject to approval by Bandit’s Stay and Play Standards Agreement prior to public voting.

Media Release: By submitting artwork, you agree that if your design wins, Bandit’s Stay and Play retains first printing rights and a free license, in perpetuity, to utilize the design on t-shirts and other promotional items, and marketing, fundraising, and public relations materials. You are guaranteeing that your design does not contain any copyrighted material, including images/copy found on the internet, unless clearly marked as published under a Creative Commons (cc) license. Contest entrants who are not selected as the winning designer(s) retain all rights to their artwork.  The Bandit’s Stay and Play brand, logo and name cannot be used for the financial gain of the participant.
